Deceit is the Deceitful side of Thomas, whether he likes it or not. But, just because he lies and is the the Deceitful side doesn't mean hes emotionless.. The others (Light) Sides don't seem to understand. Remus is the other Creativity; less likable one but not completely hated, given hes apart of Roman, which everyone likes him. King Creativity is back. Which means Janus is alone, not that he's sad or anything. No he's happy for Remus. He's happy the King is back. At least if he keeps telling himself that until he himself believes those words he will be. So what if the Kings return meant Remus was gone. He was Deceit. He was a Dark side. He was fine with being alone. (Or where King Creativity is back. Deceit is not okay and really neither is Virgil. But this is a Deceit-centric)

Through the reveal of Remus, things between the sides have changed. Logan's advice to Thomas has been taken up by Virgil, talking to Patton and learning to grow as a side. All seemed to be going smoothly until Remus tells Roman something not so true ,and with a new dilemma facing Thomas, the sides are busting out the seems of their foundation to try and keep things together. But with a fallout between the repressed and furious feelings eating away at Virgil and Roman, a past that had never seen the light of day, and the wrath of the dark sides ready to break all that was built, the sides have to figure out a way to save all that they have. - #3 on #sanderssides 10-15-19 - I recently got into Sanders Sides and I needed to write a story with Virgil's past ASAP, I hope you enjoy it!

This is based on a role play I did in a Sanders Sides fan group. It is also inspired by the show Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts and a podfic called The Selfish Protector by DragonSaphira Reads. Anyway synopsis: Janus wasn't sure where it had all gone wrong. Everything had been going so well. He'd been getting along better with the ligh- 'other' sides, Roman and Virgil had definitely seemed to be getting used to his presence in videos, and they'd even been inviting him to join in on their famILY traditions. Where had it gone wrong? His snake half. Janus had noticed that he'd been adopting more reptilian traits. Shedding? Fine. A few extra scales? Easy to hide... mostly. But it's become more and more prominent and more and more painful and frustrating to deal with. Janus won't ask for help, fearing the others might start to not trust him again and undo everything he'd worked for. How will this go? Logan, Roman, Patton, Virgil, Remus, and Janus belong to Thomas Sanders. I don't know what ships will be in this or if there even will be any, but I'm assuming I'll end up adding either Moceit, Loceit, or Roceit. [Sanders Sides, is an amazing thing created by Thomas Sanders, this is just a fanfic.] So, okay. Virgil, even now, wouldn't say that he's a part of the group. There was the Light Sides, the Dark Sides, an He was just Virgil. Kinda stuck in between in his own special but tiny box. And up until now, Virgil thought that the Light Sides were fine with that like the Dark Sides were. But, the answer was, apparently, no. Or, at least it was a semi-unanimous no. Sure, Virgil wasn't happy to know that, but why did he have to learn about it through stupid anti-anxiety pills...?
