If I knew what would've happened, what could I change? It's my fault that it happened, I should've been more careful. As a mother, it was my job to keep her safe. But now I'll never be able to see that warm smile again. This is a short story about grieving and divorced mother.

"Everyone hopes for that perfect life, but me I just want to be happy. Maybe this new school will help. I don't know anymore. Everything was okay until it happened. Now I'm moving away and trying to find ways to cope. I remember her smile. I remember everything she did for me even though we didn't have a lot of money. She did everything she could to make me happy. As I look out the window tears slowly run down my face. " Change is different and new but it may end up being be better than you thought.
