Ellie was 14 when she moved to Sydney, Australia due to her dads work. Ellie's mother had died during childbirth so Ellie grew up with no mother, although her father bought many women home.
Ellie's father came home drunk many nights and thought that Ellie was bad luck because she was the reason his wife died so he abused her many times, mostly whilst he was intoxicated.
When Ellie and her father moved into there new house, Ellie met her new neighbour Luke.
Luke and Ellie became good friends but Ellie was hiding a lot.
He knew about her mother but he didn't know about the abuse that Ellie was involved in.
Will Luke find out Ellie's secrets or will they remain hidden from him? Will Ellie end up breaking down her walls for Luke or will it all lead to something more?
