After treating his elderly family friend, Mr. Wiltshire, through a lengthy illness Howard Phillips is surprised to learn that he has been left the Wiltshire Manor. After taking possession of the house he discovers that Mr. Wiltshire was a practitioner of magic, but he is unable to determine to what ends after a cursory investigation. 

Why was his friend practicing magic? Was it out of mere curiosity or did he have a reason for doing so? Why did Mr. Wiltshire sequester himself in the house library for the last year of his life? Was he on the edge of a major magical discovery or was he simply going mad?

Thus begins Howard's investigation into the many secrets of the mysterious Manor and its contents.All Rights Reserved
