Up in the Clouds
Asher was always fascinated with the curly hair girl living in the house across his. Slumped on the chairs with the cup of coffee, he often found her sitting in her balcony alone. She had an uncanny ability to draw his attention towards her and fill him with curiosity. But these high rise buildings were hidding screams which only the skies could hear. One day, when a secret is revealed, up in the clouds, a crime is committed in that house, he has to decide, whether he wants to stay silent and hide the truth or speak up and maybe destroy a life. SHADOW
All I wanted was him. His eyes were like starlight, everything about him made me so uncomfortable but that didn't change the fact that he was the one I wanted. I should have known better at the time. Maybe that feeling of danger should have made me run a different way but I didn't, I ran towards him even when he pushed me away. Now I'm here, looking at the window wondering how life would have been if I didn't let him. I should have seen the crazy. But like the dark makes shadows flee, I'll hold on to the little light he left me with. And in every room, I'll stare into the shadows in hopes of seeing him again.
Star Light
One day when Laura is walking home from the High school bus stop, she notices something in the corner of her eye. A black truck with tinted windows just sitting on the corner with the head lights and engine running. She turns back around and starts to walk toward her house as the truck engine gets louder. Whether it was paranoia or not she couldn't tell. She doesn't turn around until she gets home then looks back and see's her fellow classmates walking to their houses like nothing is happening. They say when a door closes, God opens a window but I can't find this freaking window no matter how hard I look. There was one single sign that the house was alive with presence. A single light against the darkness of the neighborhood's dimming sunset. If she didn't know better, Kara Danvers would have said the house was empty. Unfortunately, she did know better- the house wasn't empty at all; rather there was a single, imposing figure in the window. A single shadow that left Kara's heart beating at twice its normal speed. My mind keeps going everywhere... I hear stuff in my head, I see the room spinning as I start to get up from my bed. All gray or faded colors spread across it. Blood on my walls, very weird how they haven't gave me a different room. I look around and I see my door open and a guy covered in tattoos at the door step. "Let them sing" he said in a raspy voice. "I'll try..." I respond, but as I blink he has disappeared and my door is closed. I look at the window as I notice it's covered in bars. Outside is my fear, my fear of being seen. As I look far in the woods I see him again. He moved his lips as I read them. He said something like 'wait for me, and I'll see you' I think. That was what I last remembered before I blacked out.Complete
