He had been serving 'the one who takes' for quite some years. Most of the creatures in the batches of new recruits either died or betrayed their king. But Cross would never do that. The god had given him a home, friends, a new purpose, a second chance at life to prove his worth. He investigates it and raged with anger through his soul after finding out he cares about other sanses than them, the Star Sanses. Which leads him to confronting him, but also hurting him. Ink changed his identity after the argument, which led him to "accidentally" join the Bad Sanses and take revenge. He is no longer Ink, but Dark. Error and Cross found about this and started to interfere. They both wanted their cheerful and loving Ink back, even if he was annoying. Nightmare on the other hand, is finally successful at having Ink on his evil hands and also can't help but fall in-love with him. But what will happen next? Will Error or Nightmare receive the love of Ink? Will Ink be saved, or be captured once again? Will I finish this god damn story for once without being lazy? (kidding xd) Cover is made by me. Every year, if either on the Angel or Devil side, if there isn't another ruler to rule alongside the main one, or 'protector', then there is a specific time you have to find someone. Otherwise, you get kicked off as it is unfair to rule alone. The only reason Ink isn't kicked off is because he has someone ruling with him. Dream & Blue. Of course, Nightmare has only been able to stall by trying to find one, seeing them as not the one, and the counter gets reset. You can't do it forever though. Now, Ink terribly naive for a protector. Of course, he was the heart. He had a place in everyone's heart- With Dream & Blue being the next. Blue being a guard, and Dream being his 'right-hand man.' Most of the time being the one helping and guiding Ink. They soon find him to be missing, captured by the demons. Panic would be spread all over the place if they were to find out Ink was missing. With this, and a limited time to work with, considering if you were to officially become a ruler of somewhere, your heart has to actually want to leave if you were to leave.
