Ruka Kisakawa, a 17 year old girl who stopped playing video games after the death of her sister and father. After coming home from a mini comic shop Ruka check her phone. Izma, Ruka's online friend, texted her saying that she wanted to play one more mmorpg with Ruka. Izma suggested Dim Knights Online. Even though Ruka didn't want to play it since she had hurtful memories about it, she still agrees to play because Ruka didn't want to make Izma sad. At dinner, Ruka's mom threw a tantrum and wanted to kill herself. Afterword, Ruka went into her room and went on Dim Knights Online. Then suddenly a bright light shines?!
