I tackled natsu into a hug "thank you for always being there for me natsu.." "yeah, yeah now you need to go get changed before you catch a cold" i giggled "aye, aye demon lord dragneel!" "quit it with that!" i shook my head "fine beloved princess y/n" he chuckled as i was changing on the other side of my bathroom door "laugh if you want, but i don't mind you calling me princess" "damn it! of course you don't" i walked out in pjs "you need to change too" "what no i don't?" i raised my hand up to his clothes "yeah you do you're soaking, i left some shorts in there for you" he went in my bathroom and came out shirtless, in shorts with his scarf "better?" he asked and i nodded, natsu sat on the bed making me do the same "are you okay?" i shook my head "not really but you have brightened this dull day up a lil" "a lil?" "okay a lot!" natsu chuckled "damn right" i looked at him "hey natsu.. do you mind staying here with me tonight?" "what like on your sofa because there's no spare room in the spare room" i shook my head "would you- would you sleep with me" i stuttered making him get flustered "i just.. dont want to be alone tonight" she smiled softly "yeah, of course" we climbed into bed together and i faced him "thank you.. for everything, i'd probably still be outside crying if it wasn't for you" "anytime, dumbass" i smiled hugging him, resting my head on his chest "you're cold!" natsu yelled shivering "warm me up then salamander" i rolled my eyes "you got it" he smirked, he warmed his body up and i snuggled into him, i looked up at him "goodnight lord dragneel" he chuckled  "goodnight princess."

Everything in this story will mostly be based exactly off the anime so the storyline will be the same with a few of my own chapters which make sense with the version of fairy tail i want to create for you guys.

A week later after being taken in by the Dragneel family, on Natsu's thirteenth birthday, Lucy's sister Michelle comes to take Lucy home with her to Paris to live with her and her husband. Lucy stays in Paris, only keeping in touch with one friend during her four years there. On her sixteenth birthday, Lucy finally moves back to Magnolia. With Natsu heavy on her mind, she gets a job and begins attending the same high school as Natsu. What happens when they get assigned to be partners on a school project after not speaking for four long years? And finding out she just happens to have gotten a job at the same place Natsu works? Will their love blossom as quickly as when they were twelve? Or will they never be meant to be with each other ever again. Lucy held the picture in her hands, listening to the deafening roar of her opponent. Juvia and Gray lay on the ground behind her, Gray's body thrown over the other girls as if to protect her though both were unconscious. Wendy held an unconscious Charle in her arms, one eye clenched tightly shut as Happy placed one paw on her calf, tears in his eyes. Erza punched the ground angrily as the loud roar of a dragon vibrated through their ears, causing Lucy's shoulder's to prick. "Please..." She murmured, tears falling from her eyes as the back of the dragon slayer arched, a guttural yell escaping his throat. She jerked her head up, blonde hair fluttering around her shoulder as her chin quivered. "Please! Give me back Natsu! My Natsu! I want the Natsu I know! GIVE ME BACK NATSU OF FAIRY TAIL!!!" ------ Lucy has begun to clean out the old Heartfilia estate. On break from Fairy Tail after the year gap, Lucy has decided to settle down and finally clean out her fathers legacy. Alone in the large house, Lucy is legitimately surprised when Levy and Gray show up at her door with an offer to help. This is a Fairy Tail fan-fiction: Natsu X OC (Serenity Rose, the Water Dragon Slayer). There are also some Gray moments if you prefer the Ice-Make stripper-boy. ~***~ Natsu appeared next to her, falling to his knees and cupping her bloodstained face in his large, calloused hands. "Lucy." His breath exhales on the top of my head. I hold him tighter, not wanting to let go, to face the truth. Natsu didn't love me, I am and always will be his best friend, nothing more. "Lucy, you're killing me." He tries lightening the mood. I didn't loosen my grip. I feel the tears prick my eyes, Natsu Dragneel didn't love me. His hand ran up and down my bare back, my skin tingles at his touch. I long for him. I breathe in a ragged breath. "Lucy, don't cry." He whispers, "I'm here." His lips met the top of my head, and my heart skips a beat. "Lucy? Lucy look at me." I didn't look though; I'm too busy clarifying with my fantasies what he just did. The guild is being as rowdy as ever, the boys throwing chairs at each other as Erza tries to get them all to settle down. Except that Lucy can't seem to find Natsu. "Mira..." Lucy mumbles as she takes a seat at the bar, her eyes still searching for her partner. "Hm?" She asks, placing down the cup that she was cleaning. "Where's Natsu?" Mira's posture suddenly shifts, she leans over closer to Lucy, grabbing the edge of the counter. "Lucy..." She warns. "You have to stay away from Natsu. Just for a little while..." "Eh? Nani?" "Natsu isn't quite right for now. He'll be fine, but you have to stay at home for a few days." "Mira... What are you talking about?" She asks, confused. "I don't expect you to understand. You just have to trust me." "But it's his birthday this weekend... I made special plans to celebrate. Knowing Natsu, being sick won't stop him from hanging out and going to a buffet." She giggles. "He's too sick, Lucy. It's better for you both if you stay away from him for the time being. Just go home and rest, he'll be fine in a couple of days."
