"I'm Cassidy, by the way."
A trace of a smile graced his features as he said, "Warren Peace. It's nice to officially meet you. From what I saw of your powers, they're pretty impressive."
"You saw that?" He nodded and your nerves buzzed. "Look, they were bullying my friend and I-"
A low amused hum escaped his throat. "Easy, Winters. I'm not judging you. I admire how to defend those you care about."

You know the story, but not like this. Cassidy Winters is new to the neighborhood and on her way to her new school, Sky High. Fortunately, she has the advantage of joining Freshmen year with the rest of the Freshmen class. She easily befriends Layla and Will, but is surprised when her little group grows into Magenta, Zach, and Ethan. Because of her powers, she's quickly dubbed Ice Queen.
Her fierce personality and willingness to protect those she cares about attracts the attention of a certain Hothead. When he overhears her defend him against her new friends, it only amplifies his initial curiosity.
