The near-death experience has traumatized him, and oddly enough has brought with it the constant craving for meat. But as time goes on, the simple cravings become an non-ignorable need for blood. Terrified of himself and what he might do, he locks himself in his room and refuses to come out, for fear of hurting his family. What happens when a curious and worried Percy makes his way into the soldier's room?

Vox Machina oneshots (might contain traces of campaign 3 and whatever else I eventually manage to carve out the time for) Once more a fandom of entirely too much depth has started living inside of my head rent free, of course, thus after a year inevitably bringing with it the unintended result of fanfiction dedicated to it. Disclaimer: I'm working off of vibes, random ideas my subconscious throws at me at ungodly hours when I should be sleeping, and limited bits and pieces of knowledge about the dnd world and critical role canon. Needless to say this probably isn't canon compliant, even when not intended to be a straight up alternate universe scenario. Let's call it creative liberties. (Obviously don't own any of the base material I'm playing with here.) Warnings for child abuse, human trafficking kinda, themes of death, loss and mourning, self-hatred and feelings of worthlessness, suicidal thoughts implied, torture and mistreatment of minors. Overall mental health issues. And the Briarwoods and their followers are their own warning (and responsible for quite a bit of the above).

"The other side Nico! We will see you there. Understand?" Nico's eyes widened. "But-" "Lead them there!" Percy shouted. "Promise me!" βI-, I will." Nico watched in horror how Percy promised Annabeth to always stay together, to never be apart again. Then, Percy let go and he and Annabeth fell down. All around, he could hear the others shouting and running to help. All too late, Percy and Annabeth were gone. Suddenly, Nico heard another sound. A strange crackling was increasingly more and more prominent, until it drowned the voices of the remaining five. Before he realized what was happening, the ground beneath his torso was crumbling away, larger and larger pieces were disappearing in the hungry darkness below. Nico did not have time to react. The next thing he knew, he was falling too. OR Three demigods fall into Tartarus after finding the statue of Athena Parthenos. For better or worse, it is not the first time for Nico. Saving a Hero
((((COMPLETED)))) Percy Jackson is depressed and has succumbed to self destructive ways to release his frustration. Nobody notices a thing until Nico gets wind of his former crush drifting farther and farther away. Percy suddenly has new feelings for someone new, and he gets rejected by someone, but not who he thinks. He gets a quest and has to pick one other person from camp to go with him to rescue a friend. Percy gets cursed along the way and has to make it back to Camp to save a life. This story is about Percy self harming, and Nico helping him, there are mentions of dizziness, the feeling of starving, graphic self harm/injuries, blood, graphic thoughts of a person with depression, and probably something like psychological horror. If any of that makes you uncomfortable, don't read!!! I don't think I'm going to get any backlash for anything but if you comment, I'm probably not going to answer you!
