 After waking from a coma Alex along with her best friend Clara, befriended an elderly man at the hospital who later passed away. In his will, they were given his Wiltshire mansion which held a few secrets in it. They discovered a little fairy door found on the grandfather's clock and a wardrobe under the stairs which has always been locked, that was until the night before Christmas came and Alex found herself in a mystical place called Figmentia. 
 With the help of an elf named Avery, they set on a journey in search of her best friend who disappeared after investigating the mice noises she heard every night before bed. They face many dangers as they try to save the people that were being tormented by the King and help them reclaim their magic. Secrets are revealed and a strange power is awakened within Alex as her and Avery's feelings grow between each other.

Will Alex be able to find Clara or will it be too late?
Will Avery get the happy ending that he has always longed for?
Will Alex leave behind her reality to stay in this fantasy where she finally feels loved?
