Laxus Dryer is the leader of the strongest(and largest) mafia gang. He is cruel, heartless, and mean. He has many girls drooling over him but he isn't interested in them. He gambles with Jude Heartfilia and it turns out that Jude is broke. He gambles away all of his fortunes and life savings. Jude Heartfilia offers his own daughter to Laxus. Will Laxus accept the offer?

(Lucy)
Lucy Heartfilia is a sweet little rich girl. All she's ever wanted was a normal life with normal friends. Not the rich and fancy kind. Lucy's mother died when Lucy was 5. After her mother's death, her father turned extremely abusive and started neglecting her. He would whip her and cut awful words into her skin as punishment. Her body now filled with scars and heart filled with fear. Her father's only peace of mind was gambling. One day he was gambling with Mr. Dryer in hopes of gaining some money back as he was already 100,000 feet deep in debt but he lost. Lucy's father didn't have the money to pay what he owed and he knew it's either pay or die so he quickly offered Lucy to Mr. Dryer without second thought.
