Tragedy strikes the small town of Reed, which lies off the coast of Florida. Hurricane Lorilye blows through taking everything in it’s path. Many lie dead from this massacre of nature. Kids become orphans, families torn apart. Just like the Jenner family. Their home was ripped from where it stood right on the beaches edge. Only DanI survived of the family. She’s sent cross country to live with her Uncle in Seattle. She now suffers from “Survivors guilt”, and Post traumatic stress disorder. In other words, she was never the same after Lorilye. Meeting one of her uncles “Troubled students” while staying after school so he can monitor detention could change her fate.
