In fixing up the Granger home before returning her parents memories, Hermione comes across the antique mirror in the attic, only to find herself in a world where she's back to being eleven,  but this time around she's the child of a single mother, no father in sight.

In 1979 Regulus put his past behind him and started a new life with his new family - his Muggle family. Outside of one day in the summer of 1992, he avoided stepping foot into the wizarding world. But then, in June of 1995, a snake raised its ugly head. Disclaimer - I don't own Harry Potter. This story works with the headcanon of Regulus being on the spectrum and also the biological father of Hermione Granger. It's also one of my major NaNoWriMo projects for this year along with a lot of shorter stories over the course of this month such as ones written for Froday Flash Fiction challenge which won't be added to my NaNoWriMo series.
