The little town of Hangle has always been a dull and dreary place to live. With the nearest city, a two day journey away, the only interesting things that go about here are the curious tales that spring up every other day from the darkened alleyways. The townspeople have learned with time and experience to not put much thought into such tales. 

Mael Davis is such a person. Seventeen year old and almost a high school graduate, his only desire is to leave this town behind and settle in the city, a place where dreams are said to come true. But as the last days of his highschool head towards a conclusion, strange things begin to take place around the town and in his own head; nightmares where he's running for his life from demonic creatures and his parents' growing secrecy are just the beginning. Stranger things are about to come to light and Mael is not sure if he's ready to find out.

" Piyali"... the voice again called this time she decided to check. she walked towards the voice direction " who's is there?" Her voice echoed but no reply came, so she neared the spot from where the voice is heard, which is more darker than the corridor, even her torch is falling short in the darkness there, she is trying to adjust her eyes, squinting her eyes she asked again " who's is that?" She expected a reply but she was pulled into a hug. As a girl she is trying to defend herself but the hug is so strong she is unable to even move. she can hear that manly voice kept saying something to her, but she is unable to understand. Those hands now cupped her face, while she tried to see who it is, but she felt kisses on her neck traveling towards her face, she resisted and shouted " no...leave me...no" Hearing that the hands left her face immediately, and the manly voice sounded concern, but escaping from the grip, she started to run from there in the darkness. she is not in the right state of mind she just kept running and running until she bumped into someone.
