She muttered something under her breath, the words sticking together unable for him to fully understand it. His confusion only led him to ask to repeat herself; to better understand her. 

She only whispered to him, the softness in her tone made his heart fluttered in his chest as if it was a dove trying to escape a metal cage. Those words repeating; echoing in his head.

"Okay," Lance murmured, shifting to get more comfortable against Keith. Lance stared out at the horizon. "Everything's so beautiful out here." "It is," Keith agreed, his voice quieter now. (What if Lance had frozen and couldn't ask Allura out on a date in Season 8, Episode 1? Instead, Lance realizes his feelings for Keith and asks him out on a date. This is my take on fixing Voltron and writing what I believe should have happened.)
