Her best friend is missing, if they are even still best friends, and she's stuck with the hunters who can't stand her. Not to mention Cassie is terrified she's not cut out for questing. She isn't as powerful as Thalia or Percy and isn't resourceful like Zoe. But Cassie carries on in hopes to save Annabeth, and herself.
