The Lost King
Once upon a time, in a far away kingdom, there was a childless werewolf king and his queen ruling all werewolf pack. The king and queen prayed day and night to the moon goddess for a young healthy cub, but their prayers were in vain for every time the queen was with child, she has had a miscarriage and would loose the baby. Then one day, the queen got pregnant and this baby did not die, but on the contraire, he grew to become a very strong and handsom lad. On one dark night, there was a rebellion in the kingdom. The king has been betrayed by his own beta and was killed by his own hands. The queen uncertain of what she should do to protect her young lad, sent him with the guards to her sister to the other side of the world. Shikamaru is assigned to be her escort as per usual, but this time things are a little different. Temari is the princess of Sunagakure with two overprotective brothers and a nagging administrative council, and Shikamaru is simply her escort who is in training to be the next advisor of the newly appointed Sixth Hokage. Apparently, their relationship could never work... publicly, that is. Will they overcome their doubts, risk destroying their friendship, and fall in love all in utmost secrecy?
