Vix, a powerful being who was caught up in an unfortunate accident,who has killed many people and will not hesitate to kill more, didn't expect to find a small girl in an alley during a snowstorm. He also didn't expect to grow quite attached to the small girl, and end up taking her in. I guess some things don't turn out the way you'd expect them to.
