This is a fan fic that takes place after James Patterson's book: City of the Dead. It's about a group kids who were experimented on by a scientist named Dr. Tanning, but their lives take a turn for the worst when Tanning is violently killed and they are left to fend for themselves in the rough city.

While this was meant as a sequel to mine and @amaryll28's story Nowhere Is Final, it was primarily written as a bit of a laugh, so please don't take it too seriously, because I sure as hell didn't! The title, in case anyone picked up on it, is a play on James Patterson's first Maximum Ride story, The Angel Experiment -- for no better than because I thought the idea of arbitrarily bird-winged creatures and pointlessly evil scientists was (somewhat) apt and (somewhat) hilarious.
