Alex doesn't say anything but looks at me in disbelief. He chuckles leaning back into his chair, making me confused.

"Oh. I understand. You don't want me to ruin your reputation." He says, still chuckling.

"What? No-"

"No, I get it." He cuts me off again. "You want us to be private because you don't want me to ruin your pretty little image. The popular girl. The rich girl. The girl who doesn't give a fuck about anything!" At this point his chuckling stopped, his words falling from his mouth and cutting straight through my chest.

"No, Alex, if you would just hear me out-"

"There's nothing to hear out, Brielle. I've got you all figured out." was the last thing he said before walking out and leaving me in the empty classroom.
