Makayla is a 15 year old girl who's parents are users of drug substances. Her mom is a recovering addict while her dad figures he doesn't have to change. She has dealt with her parents behavior all her life so her response and reactions come naturally. This making her not so open and affectionate with others. But things change as Makayla is starting High School. Makayla has always been a bright girl even though people judge her off the circumstances ; so she figures her new school will be a good way to start fresh. Though she gets into friends groups and situations that she could never possibly imagine when she meets Armon and his 19 y/o cousin JB.
