Among the Living | Completed

After a mysterious illness rapidly spreads across the globe, it seems as if the end of humanity has finally arrived. However, two teens find themselves thrown together as unlikely survivors among the flesh-hungry sick, one with nothing left to lose and the other holding onto a fragile hope her mother is still alive halfway across the country. As they embark on a trek across the United States, what obstacles will they face and will they find something more than just friendship along the way?

Story is loosely inspired by the Forest of Hands and Teeth series by Carrie Ryan and the movie 28 Days Later :)
