Jim Hopper is starting a new life. His new life in his old town, how ironic.
On his way from Now York to Hawkins, he recognizes someone of his past, the girl he secretly had loved on High School... Joyce Byers.
After a long time in New York, he will have to start a new life in Hawkins and try to move on after his tragic old life with Diane and his beautiful daughter. And Joyce will try to be next to him to overcome her own problems; despite after all that happened when they were young...

Hi! I started this story with the intention of writing a OneShot, but after the first part I thought that it could be a full story, so I'm trying to write it :)
