This Spider will bite
I'm walking down the road when I suddenly see a flash of light. I squeeze my eyes shut. After a few seconds I hear somehow familiar voices. My eyes shoot open and everything is blurry. My right hand hurts. I shake it and see a spider fall on the ground My vision is okay again. "Peter?" Huh? A hand grabs my shoulder. "Pete?" I look at him, my brain is immediately going into overdrive. Spiderbite, I'm being called Peter, this guy looks like the actor of Harry Osborn from Sam Ramis trilogy. Oh fuck. I'm not like the other kids. The other kids, with their pale gold hair and pale moon faces, or dark coffee skin and hair as black as night. I don't want to waste my life, being told to believe things because some adult said so. I don't want to be shunned because I look different. I don't want this. In this place everything is perfect. Outside the walls
War had just broke out between the states of America. Two states remained. Yet only one wins. One state had won by peace and one state had won by destruction. The day of the fight, the state of distinction launched a nuke. Yet they had under estimated the power the nuke had. It destroyed both states and it had seemed that no one remained. 3 years latter and a little city had grown out of the destruction. Emma was a resident of that city. Emma had a different childhood than most. "Go fetch the food!" or "Go get the water!" Were the most of chores she had to do. It was grow up fast or die in her city! On Emma's 17 birthday she would be old enough to go out side of the city walls and look for communication to other parts of the world. They had found a part of a cell tower that would finish off there hand made cell tower and needed a search crew to go get it and bring it back. Emma now being old enough she tried out. She had never been outside the city walls. We're most of the adventures have already gone once or twice. Let's be honest here we all have gone to a random location at a random point in the space time continuum and saw a person that caused us to question ourselves with the age old ponderings of "what in the hell was this person thinking when they woke up this morning".
