The Girl

Since Kendra's birth, her family has waited and watched. She was always cared for, but never truly a part of it all. That made her an outcast and a little bit of a burden. Kendra grew up questioning the purpose of her existence. Until the arrival of a witch, an undead soldier, and an envoy from the crossroad realm, unveiled everything the Leese family had tried to keep a secret: They all knew about the curse, and that she was chosen to carry it.

Although the story fits Wattpad's rules and regulations and it is classified as "Everyone", there are several aspects that are factual about the story that need to be highlighted.

"The girl" is a historical fantasy with traces of horror set in the Southern United States, shortly after the Civil War. There will be:

* Discussions of the aftermath with some characters holding on to the political views of the South.
* References to slavery.
* Indirect and implied comments/act of a racist nature.

Others include:
* Loss of a child/still birth.
* Medical procedures without anesthesia.
* The level of violence is expected of a "creature feature" which includes psychological manipulation, murders and consumption of blood.
* Adaptation of use and custom of spiritual practices/symbols/figure heads cherished by a number of religions, to fit a fantastic setting.
