My eye caught a pink flashy coat at a corner. I immediately turned knowing who it would be and there standing lonely was Kelsey. She had her hair in a pink and white hat and her eyes looked far away. I walked closer to her, slowly so I could put my words in order. Suddenly I didn't care about my pride of not apologizing to people. I just had to make things right with this girl.
"Kelsey." I stopped Infront of her. She raised her head to look at me. My heart skipped a beat to find her face stained with tears and a bit of snot and her cheeks were red. Oh no.
"Kelsey I-" but before I could speak further I felt a soft fist hit me in the cheek. "Don't say anything! I don't want to see your ugly face ever again in my life. I hate you!" She said with all the anger illuminating from her eyes before she stomped away from the gathering.
I sat on the snow covered ground with a huff. I guess I'll have to live with the guilt. What a cute little punch. I rubbed my cheek and let out an empty chuckle.

The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" He shakes his head immediately, frowning. "What, why not? You remind me of my old teddy bear. He was a good listener and he didn't talk much..... just like you." I say softly, tilting my head. He continues to shake his head. I fold my arms, leaning back in my seat. "Yeah, it's definitely sticking. Teddy.....It has a nice ring to it, yeah?" My long, cherry-red hair cascades over my breasts, drawing attention from the crowd. As a freshman dating a senior, our relationship is a big deal. Everyone stops and stares as we make our way to the kitchen, the party's hotspot. Tyler pushes me against the counter, whispering in my ear and kissing my neck. I laugh, delighted, until one of his friends interrupts. "Yo, Tyler, bro!" he calls, accompanied by a girl with dirty blond hair, a black mini skirt, and a crop top. "This is my sister, Lily," he introduces, and she extends her hand. I shake it, exchanging a brief "Hi." Her gaze lingers on Tyler, who continues kissing my neck. My friends rush in, and I'm swept into a group hug. "Who's Miss Barbie doll?" Keath asks, and I shrug. "Just a nobody." I say, making eye contact with Lily, who frowns. Tyler intervenes, "Be nice." He pulls me into his arms, kissing me passionately, leaving Lily staring. The party progresses. Lily doesn't touch a single drink but my Tyler is gone, past faded. "Lets go someplace quiet."
