Kokichi Ouma was smart, overall. But his decision to join a killing game called Danganronpa was, by far, the dumbest decision he's ever made. He'd joined the game thinking it would give him a temporary break from his reality - the one filled with bullying, bad parents, and Tourette Syndrome. Technically, the game did give him a short break, despite introducing even more trauma into his life. But it all came rushing back when he woke up nine months later. Now, Kokichi has to deal with navigating a new life, all while trying to hide everything. He doesn't want things to end up how they were before the game, and the best way to avoid that is to put on an act. But how can he keep up that act when one person sees right through him?
