Ex-religious (strong focus on Mormonism/the-church-of-jesus-christ-of-latter-day-saints since that's the one I grew up believing) memes and stories from people who've had negative experiences with this and other fundamentalist religions. If you're particularly fond of religion this may offend you, don't read it as this is meant to be a safe place for people who've been traumatized by religion. Please send me your stories and I'll put them here. Please specify if you want to remain anonymous or to be credited, I'll leave it as an anonymous contribution otherwise. And no, I did not make any of the memes, I'm not that cool.

Outcast
Heads up this story is pretty old and kinda bad so I don't rlly recommend reading😬 Anyway ~~~~ "P-please, just leave m-me alone," I whisper, mentally slapping myself for stuttering. "Oh? Does the outcast want to talk?" she asks. --- For Jamie, being a senior in high school isn't easy for them. Bullies treat them like trash everyday, and it's even worse when you're the odd one out. Literally, being non-binary in a Christian school. Until a few nice people start reaching out...maybe it won't be so bad... ‼️CAUTION//TW: CONSTANT MENTIONS SELF HARM, SUICIDE, GRIEF, AND BULLYING‼️Complete
The One
It was only senior year. Four years of my life all about to come to an end for college next year. Had the stereotypical deadbeat father and hardworking mother in a Caribbean household. The bisexual, black girl trying to get through her senior year of high school. I was the girl who knew everyone but had a small group of friends. I was the star track and field runner for the girls' team at school. I hadn't been intimate with anyone in two years. It was going alright until I met you. You popped into my life, made my head spin into a 360, and that's when it all changed. You changed me. And for that, I mostly hate you then appreciate what you did to me. And it's because of you, I'll never be the same towards love again. They say your first love is something you won't ever forget. I won't, especially from the damage you done and continued to do.Complete
