Just one night changed my entire life.
I never expected to become a blood sucking, undead monster. Nor did I expect it to happen on one of the most important days of my life. My senior prom night! 
But when you go to Prom with the mysterious new guy at school, you should expect something strange to happen. Then again, even if I did, I still wouldn't have expected that he was a deadly creature of the night. 
Oh well, I guess I'll just have to get use to my new undead life. That is, if I can survive the stake-wielding psychopaths that are out to re-kill me.

I awoke to shuffling in my room. I looked over to my alarm clock. 2:47. The hell? The shuffling comes closer to my bed and I tense when I see a shadow of a man. I stay still, breath coming in small pants as I tried to pretend I was sleeping. I feel a dip on the end of my bed and stiffen. I squeeze my eyes shut and whimper quietly. I hear a low growl and snap open my eyes to see bright blue eyes staring into my violet ones. I whimper again before bolting out of bed and to the door but the man catches me. I feel his breath on my neck before his face trails up to my ear causing a shiver to run down my spine. "Mate." He whispers huskily. I back up, struggling to get away from this him, not knowing who this person is. Mate? What the fuck is that? Skylar Grey has had a crush on the mysterious Retner Evans. ever since fresman year of highschool when Ret first appeared in all his badass glory Skye has had his eye on him. Asher Rhys Skye's best friend and also the best friend of Ret says that it will go away, but what happens when it becomes Junior year and the feelings only get stronger? What happens when Skye breaks down after finding out Ret has a girlfriend? What happens when a stranger enters his room, or when that stranger says mate?
