"Yoongi." She said his name again, leaning closer.
He swallowed hard, pretending to be busy with something that didn't exist.
"What?" His voice came out harsher than he intended.
She laughed. That laugh. The one that made something coil in his chest, something warm, something dangerous.
"Are you ignoring me?"
"No."
"Then look at me."
Yoongi didn't. Couldn't. Not when she was this close.

"You're blushing," she murmured, amused.
He snapped his head up, scowling instantly. "I'm not."
She only grinned, resting her chin on her hand, staring at him like she could see through everything.
"You always do this," she mused. "Pretend you don't care. Pretend you're unaffected."
Yoongi exhaled sharply, forcing himself to hold her gaze.
"Maybe I am unaffected."
Lili tilted her head, a slow, knowing smile playing on her lips.
"Then why can't you stop looking at me?"
He had no answer for that.
