The Prisoner
Every sudden movement sent my heart racing, my body coiled to either flee or fight. The shadows held demons from my nightmares, and every creak of the floor was a harbinger of doom. The whispers of the wind outside seemed to echo the hiss of my captor's breath in my ear, and the distant wail of a siren was the howl of the Fiery Claws coming for me.
