In Love with A Turtle?! (TMNT FanFiction)

Two best friends move to New York together. Yes, they're technically only 15 and 16 but they have their parents moving with them, they just live close together. Twila was a small and cute bubbly girl that never cared what others think but was very self conscious of herselfs worth. Mariah, Twila's best friend, was a taller girl who was the life of the party, but had insecurities about her body. One thing they both have in common is they suffer from undiagnosed depression. Twila used to date Mariah's younger brother but he broke her heart by cheating on her. Mariah had dated a boy who lived in washington but he sadly died from cancer. Soon they slowly moved on and tried to make their lives better and it sorta helped. But what will they do when they discover a whole other world of crazy. One night they decided to walk around New York, they had gotten used to it and knew their way around most places. They then got followed by some of the foot. They got scared and ran into an alleyway not thinking, just acting and got trapped. Just when they thought they were screwed, Turtles came to their rescue?? The turtles brought them to a rooftop to safety after defeating them. They were both shocked and scared. Also confused!? The turtles introduce themselves and Twila starts to grow a liking to the orange turtle who called himself mikey. Mariah on the other hand was falling for the purple turtle who was named Donnie. Where will their adventure go next? Will Twila and Mariah end up with the turtle of their dreams? Or will the foot and shredder ruin all their chances?
