Keith, now the leader of Voltron after Shiro's disappearance, doesn't even have the time to grieve. Now, he has the pressure of leading the universes' defenders, the pressure of his past, the pressure of dealing with Allura's hatred, and the pressure of being the Galra that's leading Voltron. He has no one to turn to. All that he does have that's keeping him sane are his meds.

He feels like he's drowning under all this weight. 

And he doesn't want to fight anymore.

Lance waited for Keith to argue but the boy had already fallen asleep. Lance hugged the boy tighter as he copied his steady breaths. He's tortured and abused for three days, leaving him a damaged mess. The paladins finally find him and bring him home, but Keith is acting strange, stranger than usual. I obviously don't own Voltron. Keith has always had anger problems but now knowing of his galra side and allure hating him he feels lonely and his depression slowly starts to creep up on him and he is unable to control his anger or the galra in him until one day he accidentally hurts Lance.
