Arthur and Merlin go on a quest to kill the mother beast while it's tranquilized, so they can protect Camelot from Morgause and Cenred. Gwen and Morgana are also a big part of the story and I write in their perspective too. *Starts out in the same timeline as Servant Of Two Masters* Merlin and the Knights are out on a trip, when they are suddenly attacked by a group of bandits. Merlin ends up getting hurt and is eventually captured by Morgana. Originally, she plans to use him to kill Arthur. However, what would happen if she were to see his scars? What if she were the one to discover that there's more to Merlin than meets the eye? How will she react when she finds out that Merlin is more that just a servant? ***** So like I said before this starts out with like the first 5 minutes of A Servant of Two Masters. If you have seen the scars type of stories before, this is a little bit like that. The difference is, it's Morgana that sees his scars first, which sparks some interesting conversations. Falling for You
Merthur AU (angel!Merlin and human!Arthur). Merlin is a young angel and doesn't understand many things. When he discovers a pond in heaven through which he can see Earth though, everything changes. For the first time, he sees a human - Arthur Pendragon. And from that moment he knows that he wants to protect him. When Arthur is in danger, Merlin accidentally ends up on Earth while trying to help him. Now he must stay in Camelot and befriend Arthur until other angels find him and bring him home. Their growing love is forbidden though. What can Merlin do now? Leave and never talk to Arthur again or stay and die? This was my first Merthur AU, written in August 2017. The story is set in season 1 during 1x04 The Poisoned Chalice. Merlin speaks Latin a bit (but I have like zero experience with that language so I used an online translator). Of course, Arthur doesn't know about Merlin, nor does he know about the way Merlin is starting to feel... In the very beginning, Merlin had realized his love for his master, but then his master had realized his love for Morgana's old handmaid, Gwen. Merlin was heartbroken, but got over it, or at least he told himself that he had. Gwen has just been cast out of Camelot, and Merlin is rediscovering his old feelings for Arthur. Now Merlin has a chance, but will Arthur look at Merlin in the way Merlin looks at him? Only time can tell, but there is very little time for such things now. Morgana is plotting up some evil scheme that will kill Merlin, Arthur, the knights, and take over Camelot. With forces aligning behind her, there's a chance that Morgana may even win.
