The Cloak Of Invisibility is about a man who lives in the shadows. His shadows are his descendents who have become ghosts of who they used to be. They are now the shadows that have become the artist's cloak of invisibility from which they live on through his voice, which is the canvas he uses to paint the images of their former selves. His Cloak Of Invisibility By Kiki Stamatiou a. k. a. Joanna Maharis He lives in the shadows hiding behind his cloak of invisibility. All that he reveals to man is the soul that opens up like a treasure chest. Out come the spirits of his family that now immerse his canvas. For they were once in the public eye as figures of politics or of entertainment. But here they rest upon the artists canvas as ghosts of who or what they used to be. For now, they are the shadows that stand behind the man who has become their voice. © Copyright, Kiki Stamatiou, 2015

Within this life you meet many people, see many faces, hear many names. Not many mean much in the end. I'm the one you always see last. The one who hides in plain sight I'm the one who creates your future but lives trapped by the past. The one who sees no light I am Death. Although this is my story it's focused on my heritage and those that I meet along my way. This is my journey to the next stage of my immortal plain because your destiny doesn't stop when you die, sometimes that's when it begins.
