I did fix the ending so it isn't so desperately sad.
I found a writing prompt I loved...it turned out much more depressing than expected. It needs SERIOUS revision because I wrote it in one sitting. It has hardly any plot or good story line. But if by chance you would like to see it, here is my depressing and rough draft work.

Now older, he drifted away from everyone and started getting into fights. He hopes to, one day, find Deku again. Deku was forced to leave his best friend when he was younger. Now older and practically unstoppable, Deku is a vigilante. He's chased by police and heroes, and doesn't have much money to take care of himself.
