It's one thing to be a woman and it's another being a single civilian mother to an aspiring medical shinobi daughter. Thankfully, she has Konoha's whole Kadoori Street by her side.

"Are you sure you didn't steal her?"
"I'm pretty sure I spent 9 hours of labor for that human being, Kakashi."
The silver-haired jonin hums, unbelieving.
"What?"
"She seems to be too smart to be your offspring."
Silence.
"Hatake"
That's his cue to get the hell out of her restaurant.
"And you wonder why I never give you the right meal!"

Note: The characters and places from the Naruto world are not mine. They are purely the author's. Those that do not belong, are from my own deranged imagination. Also, I altered a lot of things in the Naruto plot line. Both Minato and Kushina survived the Kyuubi attack. There are other things too, but I'm too lazy to enumerate. Anyways... enjoy!

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
