How We Met
As I see my mom walk out the door I look at my dad smiling at me. The way he smiled at me made realize how afraid he was. I glance at him and give him a fake smile before he comes up to me and gives me a hug. The warmth of his body was reassuring but I feel the tears start to come down his face. I didn't want to lose him......ever. My dad Kevin who always is there by my side needed me there for him I glance at him and smile and he kisses my cheek. He whispers "Everything...will be alright." Life is too short to be anything but ordinary. That being said, I learned how to play the guitar one day and wrote songs about love. My guitar skills maybe limited but I had so much fond memories that the callous on my fingers made a good souvenir on that musical stage in my life. As the years passed, I began taking interest in art; painting in particular. So I collected all the coloring materials I can find and start sketching in this huge white pad I got from some local bookstore. My brothers can sketch and since we share the same DNA, it's probably one of the reasons why I do contain a pinch of that same talent.
