Humanity is stricken by a deadly disease. The military starts concentrating the sick in community isolation centers to limit the spread of the disease, but as the years go by and there is no cure, supplies dwindle as the sick grow steadily, leading to more drastic measures to protect the healthy population. Under the pretext that only those who are in the final stages of the disease are being killed, the military corps starts eliminating those they gather in the camps.

Two boys get caught up in this mess, and after facing many difficulties and obstacles, they establish the "Resistance", to fight against the violent actions of the military and the government's decisions. They count on each other to survive through this hell and when they get separated, their desire to reunite becomes their motivation to keep on fighting, keep on living.
