The Fallen Ones

For thousands of years, a lone fallen angel hunts monsters across a scarred world-creatures born of darkness, rebellion, and forgotten sins. She believes herself a weapon forged by punishment.
Midway through the story, the truth is revealed: She was not cast down for rebellion-but for love.
She loved her fellow angel, her brother-in-light, who would one day become the Devil. When he grew jealous of humanity and planned rebellion, she refused to follow. Worse-she threatened to tell God.
To save himself, he betrayed her first.
He rewrote the story. God believed him. And in divine wrath, both were cast from Heaven.
Now, she hunts the monsters he creates-not just to protect mankind, but to clean up the sins of the man she once loved.
