I remember this day like it was yesterday. The cries and the screams, they all came flooding back to me as a single tear left my eye. I thought I got over this. Him. I thought I got over his contagious smile, his annoying habits, his pranks and his personality.
Why wasn't it me instead? No. Why couldn't we have gone together? Maybe then we would've been able to be together forever, like we had promised.

Gio is living an almost perfect life at the tender age of 10. He goes to a good school, has great teachers and even good grades. He has a best friend who he wouldn't trade the world for but all of that crumbles in an instant when nobody was expecting it and he decided to switch schools.
