Paris.. Paris.. Paris.. was all I could think during my last class of the day. I am a junior in college. I had not had a lot of things growing up, as soon as I was 18 I was cut off, not that I had much to be cut out of but always have had dreamed of going to Paris. This was it this was when I finally got to live my dreams, when all of those hours of hard work finally pay off. Even though I’m only going for one week I am so grateful. My parents helped me for this trip by buying my plane tickets and helping me find a decent hotel at a reasonable price.

Just 21 simple words had changed everything for me. It’s a little sad, isn’t it? I don’t need anyone feeling sorry for me though. As I leave, the cold British wind greets me. I zip up my sweater, and start walking home. Thanks to my parents, I don't have a car. "You're too irresponsible for a car, Courtney.
