Five clans roam the forests, lakes, and mountains. Five clans of catagons, cat-dragon hybrids whom have the powers of dragons and the spirits of cats. Two apprentices from the FireClan train together, discovering many skills in order to protect their clan from enemy battles. As Starfur, a young dark colored catagon trains on, she discovers secrets, stories, prophecies, and power that the clans are yet to find. Before Starfur can even manage being an apprentice, new troubles knock her down and throw her into a sea of blood. Only Starfur knows great trouble is coming for her clan, she just doesn't know what yet. The least she can do is keep her claws unsheathed, and stay ready for battle.
