The Hero's Last Adventure.

"So? Why are you in here? If you're down here you must've done something pretty bad, huh?" The boys voice was bright, almost as though the fact that his execution was days away hasn't even occurred to him.

"..."

"Hmmm, you're so quiet- are you a mute or something??"

"Drop it Ace, he hasn't talked ever since we've gotten here." The fishman grumbled.

The boy known as ace pouted. "Well it's so boring! The least we can do is talk, Jimbei!"

Jimbei grumbled.

"If I...." The quiet man began- shocking them both. "if I were to say I did nothing wrong.... Would you believe me?"

His eyes glowed within the dark cell.

There breathing was the only noise that was made in the silence.

Ace grinned. "Of course!"

That was the first time the man had hope in this world.

"Ne....it seems like today is the day." His smile was dimmed. "Can you do me a favor?" He asked as the two mourned quietly.

"Take care of my brother?"

Jimbei and the quiet man nodded.

"Oh! Due to the short time we had- I never got to ask for your name, quiet dude."

The guy almost laughed.

"My name is...."

"W-w-w-what happened?!" He yelled out, he tried throwing a punch at the shady dude- but his arm wouldn't stretched.

"Oi! Luffy stop playing around, you're still injured!"

"I'm not Jimbei ! I can't stretch!"

"Are you Aces brat?" He asked, his eye glowing red.

"How do you know my brother?!"

"That idiot told me to take care of you, so that's what I'm doing." He closed his eyes as he blinked- the ability to stretch suddenly returning.

The man pulled out a bright sleeping bag as he laid down on the field.

"I can erase devil fruits by the way, so rest or you'll actually pull something." He yawned before he went to sleep.

"NANIIIIII?!"

"HUHHHH?!"

"EHHHHHH?!"

"....SUGOIIIIII!"
