I've always been fascinated by Akito. She's lived her entire life hidden from the world under boys clothes, under this image she's built for herself as some sort of god. She controls the Sohmas with abuse, she does horrible things to them yet none of them seem to blame her or resent her for it, which is part of the curse. She appears on the outside to be some sort of sociopath, who is more than happy to manipulate people to get her own way. But she has this addiction. Every morning once the moment has passed, she is unable to see why she did it, she promises herself that it will never happen again, yet every night she's back outside Shigure's bedroom door, hating herself because she knows she should have more willpower than this. She doesn't understand how she feels about Shigure and it scares her, it scares her a lot. She catches herself wishing for things a sociopath shouldn't wish for, like a loving relationship, a family with Shigure by her side. The only problem is that he sees her the exact same way that she pretends to see him- as a recurring mistake she makes each night that means nothing more than a means to fulfil her needs. In this 'relationship', it's Shigure who is the sociopath.
