No less than two years after humanity's acceptance into the Galactic Assembly and participation in the Drev War, most aliens have still never seen a human. Rumors run rampant about these strange, powerful predators, so much so that news of them has spread across the known universe. Krill, an alien surgeon stationed at the galaxy's largest trauma center, hardly has time to believe these rumors, but a freak accident aboard a human spaceship brings him in contact with the first human he has ever met. Fascinated by their wonderful strangeness , he finds himself a member of the crew under a young and inexperienced captain with no idea what he's gotten himself into.Terminé
Ezra's First
Ezra thought his grades would get him posted to a place in the Navy that reflected his ability, something like First Fleet, the Raiding Nine, or even Home Guard. Humanity's enemy the Preshk where attacking more often and Ezra wanted to be contributing directly to the war effort. Instead he got put on a Scout ship with just one other soul and sent on a five month mission out into deep space. The mission quickly becomes more than the young commander could have ever expected and the fate of humanity lies in how fast he can return back to humanity. This short story is just over 18,000 words and contains sexual content between two men, so If that's not your cup of tea.. don't read :) This is my first attempt at something like this, so feedback is welcome, though be nice :)Terminé
