This is my first story I'm actually going through with putting out there. I know it's not great plz don't hate to badly😂
It's been 10 years. Abuela has passed and mirabel is now the candle bearer. But soon a new family moves in... they have powers too, but not so helpful ones. Camilo, mirabel, and now 15 yr old Antonio go to check Out what this new family has in store...but they soon discover a terrifying secret.

Mirabel saw the cracks on that fateful night Antonio got his gift but this time she kept it to herself. She knew how important that candle and its miracle was to her family but she also knew how much they depended on it. She was not about to let the candle flicker out but if it did she would be the one to protect her family. Will her family realize they have pushed away Mirabel in time it will they lose her forever? This is a shorter story and the chapters are shorter than most of my other books. I may rewatch encanto at some point and edit this story to be longer but idk.
