It was never painful for them to hurt each other. It was so easy for one of them to yell insulting words at the other. There have been many moments where their tears shed, where their anger show, where they would want to kill each other. Yet, it is so ironic Mates When ever someone hears that word, 'Beautiful Love' or 'Loyalty' arrives as the first visitor to their thoughts. It is a beautiful word which screams 'Everlasting' 'Eternal'. It is a word which only exists between wolves. But we, humans, love the idea of having a mate. We want to have a mate. We want to have someone who will love us for eternity. Who will always be loyal to us. That is why the word 'Soulmate' came into show. A makeshift word for that wonderful bond. Yet... the word could easily lose its meaning with their relationship. They hate each other, so much, they would want the other to disappear. A beautiful creation made into an utter nightmare, it is so ironic. But what if, one starts to... The world is ending. The Earth is painted with the blood of humans. Only zombies and monsters roam the lands now. But in the last standing building, 6 teenagers unexpectedly meet each other. Each helping another to survive the dangers of the what the world has become. They bond, they trust but Dream stands out from the others because she is strange and mutant-like. No one could fully trust her, not that it'd matter anyway because Dream trusts no one except herself. So, when they receive a message which sends them to the very top of the hotel. Floor 31. They are forced to fight and kill zombies and monsters just for a chance of safety. But does this 'safety' even exist?Complete
Verge of Insanity
My dream continued the one I'd been having for the past couple of nights. I ran, gasping for breath, through the familiar woods from a dark figure behind me. The faster I tried to run, the slower I seemed to go, until it was like I was running in place. I knew I needed to run. I was terrified of what the figure would do when he caught me. "Mara Leigh," a deep, smooth voice called. It was almost hypnotic. That was new. The figure had never spoke before now. I ran as fast as I could go, eyes searching the forest floor for a big stick or something that I could use to defend myself. "Mara Leigh!" the voice came again, this time more insistent. The forest slowly started to fade and I started to awake to someone shaking my shoulders. "Beau?" I mumbled, turning my head to the side. What's Beau doing in my room this time of night? Why is he shaking me? "Do not call me that name." My eyes flew open as I jumped at the voice from my dream. A face was right in front of mine, and just like the voice, it wasn't Beau. Before I could form a scream, a hand covered my mouth. I tried to bite it but I couldn't get my mouth to open. He's too strong. I started to use my whole body to try to get away, but he crawled on top of me, holding me down. I pulled the hidden knife out from under my pillow and slashed as hard as I could at him, but he just grabbed my wrist and squeezed it until the pain made me drop the knife. Then he grabbed both my hands in one of his and held them over my head. He held me down while I struggled. I grunted and moved and tried to kick and scream, but I only wore myself out. Exhausted, I stopped thrashing and let the tears flow freely down my cheeks. I didn't know what to do, so I just tried to prepare myself for whatever was coming.Complete

NIGHTHAWK: A Short Story.
Edward Anderson finds himself in yet another night with the same issue; he hasn't been able to sleep in weeks. Edward was a troublemaker yuppie with no purpose in his life. After an accident almost got him killed, back in his "previous life" as he calls it. Edward decides to move all by himself to Tallahassee in order to start over, leaving his sisters and mother with the doubt of whether or not he will be out of trouble. Times passes and he develops a severe case of insomnia. He finds himself wondering around in a rented place reading books, listening to music or whatever helps him to sleep, but he can't. Until one day he decides to drive around the city every single night until the break of dawn visiting the same places, the same beach, the same gas station over and over again without any success. Edward's fate changes forever when he finds an old house in a quiet neighborhood where he suspects something very strange and disturbing is going on in there. "Nighthawk" is a story of solitude, a story of how difficult it is to leave the past and change for the better. A character study of the difficulties to face and defeat our inner demons and how sometimes all it takes to destroy us is being at the wrong place and at the wrong time; or maybe it is the right place and the right time in this case. *This story belongs to the short story collection titled "Stream Of Consciousness" which I will publish somewhere around this year.Complete
