At the end of Resurgent, Tris was saved by the resurgence serum. She was no longer convergent, she was cured. It's almost a year later since the war has ended. There are no more factions but Tris wonders if there are any lasting city's left. 
Tris forces Tobias, Zeke Christina, Uriah and Caleb to come with her on this Journey to find other city's. 
She finds a city that is full of convergents but they know Tris is divergent and they want something from her. Tris wants to help these people, but doesn't know if it's a good idea. 
She doesn't know if it's Dangerous, but it's a risk she Is willing to take.
